SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE

We believe we have a responsibility in a low carbon future. Sustainable practices and decisions must be embedded in the way we work and do business as the future of our industry depends on making positive changes for sustainability now.

We have several sustainability measures in place; including a 2040 Zero Waste target, where our goal is to minimise waste generation and waste to landfill while maximising resource recovery to achieve New Zealand’s future sustainability goals.

We are continuously keeping an eye on developments in the ‘green’ technology world, including battery and hydrogen-powered equipment. We purchase plant and equipment that has approved end-of-life solutions, are made to last and are climate conscious meeting Euro 5 Emissions Standards. Unwanted materials are donated to community recycling centers where they can be reused, repurposed and recycled.
