Rosedale Treatment Plant

Working for McConnell Dowell (Watercare), we were tasked with the major logistical challenge of removing, hauling, and disposing of all spent biofilter media from the Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Because the media was stored in large, above-ground tanks, we developed a unique, high-efficiency system.

This approach used a precise setup of conveyor belts and small excavators to feed the material directly into our trucks. This method successfully eliminated time-consuming manual labour and double-handling, delivering maximum speed and efficiency for the client.
