Following the devastation of Cyclone Gabrielle, we were engaged directly by Auckland Council – Healthy Waters for the urgent stabilisation of a major, high-severity landslip which necessitated the removal of an affected house.

The unique challenge required our team to operate safely at heights using anchor points and specialised abseiling techniques.

Our scope involved the immediate protection of the slip face, including the installation of bidim geotextile for long-term/ erosion control, and the critical extension of all existing stormwater outlets.
